Domestic Abuse & Crisis Support
If you or someone you know is in danger, call 911. Reporting abuse does not by itself end your immigration status, and Congress created routes specifically for immigrant survivors — VAWA self-petitions, U and T status. A dependent visa (H-4, F-2) still depends on the principal's status, so get advice before you act. The organisations below understand South Asian family contexts; ask each one directly which languages its helpline can offer.

In immediate danger? Call 911. For emotional crisis, call or text 988. Both work 24/7 from any U.S. phone.
