Who we are

SOS Global Indians ("SOSGI", "we") operates this community platform for Indians and NRIs, currently serving the United States. Questions about this policy? Contact us through the Get Help form.

What we collect

• Newsletter signups: your email address.
• Community membership: the name, city, and optional email you provide when joining.
• Listings and directory submissions: the contact details and content you choose to publish.
• Advertising inquiries: business and contact details you submit.
• Help requests: the information you share when asking for support.

We do not collect passwords or payment card details, and we do not buy data about you from third parties.

How we use it

• To operate the platform: publishing your listings, posts and business profiles as you direct.
• To send the community newsletter and platform updates to subscribers and members. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email.
• To tell you about community events, partner offers and sponsors relevant to the Indian community in the U.S. — including through email campaigns and matched audiences on advertising platforms (such as Meta and Google), where permitted by those platforms' terms.
• To moderate content and keep the community safe.

Help requests are special. Information submitted through the Get Help form is used only to connect you with support. It is never used for marketing, advertising or audience building, and is visible only to platform administrators.

Advertising and cookies

We display sponsorships and advertisements to keep the platform free. If third-party ad services (such as Google AdSense) are active, they may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can learn about and opt out of personalized Google advertising at adssettings.google.com.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that host and operate the platform (e.g., our hosting and database providers), with advertising platforms solely as described above, or when required by law. Content you choose to publish (listings, posts, business profiles) is visible to the public by design.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time via the Get Help form — we honor requests under applicable laws, including Texas and other U.S. state privacy laws.
